Encouragement Cards

I worked on a few encouragement cards
this week.

Here are two that I made and sent.
I am going to link them
to Word Art Wednesday.

I tried to make this like one I had seen somewhere ,
but it didn't end up the way it started.
that seems to happen to a lot of the cards I start.

 On this one I embossed  the flower
and then colored the bloom
with my Spectrum Noir markers
and added some Win of Stella to make it pop.

The stamp was from a Stampin' Up set,
that I think is no longer available,
called "Oh, So Lovely"

I won the stamp set from a blog hop a while back.

Easter may be over, but Our Saviour still lives
and is sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven
interceding for us and waiting to come back
for those who love and serve Him.

Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God;
angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
1 Peter 3:22

Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again,
who is even at the right hand of God,
who also maketh intercession for us.
Romans 8:34

  2. Wonderful cards dear Mehrll. I especially liked the first card as it could be used for a man if you took the little embellished flower off. :)
    Guy cards are so hard to find and I am always on the hunt for good ones.

    I appreciated the verses that you shared with us, thank you. Yes, Easter is over, but our Precious Savior lives. How real to know that our Savior is sitting at the right hand of God, and that He is preparing a place for those of us who have put our faith in Him. Oh Lord come quickly...I am ready to meet my maker at any time.

    I was going to head out for my daily walk just after I finished commenting, but all of a sudden we are getting major snow and the wind kicked in. Guess I will have to sit by the fireside with a cup of hot tea and some fruit.
    My wild turkeys are out in the front of the house looking for any extra hen scratch. Poor little babies. I should spoil them just a little since it is snowing. {{smiles}}

    The Lord bless you~~

  3. Great work, sis, two beautiful cards, hard to pick a favourite however love aspects of both of them, the hexagon layout on first one and poppy so well standing out against its background.
    And then Gods precious word to lift our hearts,
